Sometimes I feel like my pain is invisible; Anxiety is like floating on open water, you constantly have to be aware and thinking about keeping your head above the waves, or else you drown. We’re distracted, we’re not looking for people who need help, we don’t want to pay attention, we don’t want to admit our weakness, we pretend to be strong and it makes us weaker. We acknowledge people online, we praise their perceived glamorous lifestyle, but forget about the other half of them still trapped in the physical word. Look up from your phone and stare into the eyes of the people who need your acknowledgement. Watch closely, be patient as their colourful tears fall, and then introduce yourself
